I am terrified by this dark thing
That sleeps in me;
All day I feel its soft, feathery turnings,
its malignity.

-Sylvia Plath,  Elm

duana r anderson is a writer/artist/poet of nightmares. She maintains a
webzine of dark erotic writings, poetry & art with her new partner in crime, Diana Price : Blood Moon zine  ...the obsessive odyssey into dark eroticism... and the newly resurrected zine within a zine Pillow Screams ...the best in erotic horror...  Both imprints feature edgy fiction and artwork that defy the boundries of traditional erotica and horror by such names as Kim Elizabeth, Christine Kessler, Heather Corrina, Alice Egoyan, David Whitman, Sandra Fritz, S. L. Robinson and many others.

duana horror slut sex goddess duana is currently attending art college, majoring in photography and film so she can take nude photos of people and call it art.  She has ambitions of becoming a pornographer and stealing Jim Morrison's corpse so she can f@ck his bones.  She enjoys traveling to Venus through astral projection, resurrecting dead poets and gravedigging.  duana believes insanity is next to genius, and being a combination of both, comes from a long line of murderers, schizophrenics, necromancers, and nymphomaniacs.  Her name is Welsh meaning little dark maiden.

duana's works have been most recently featured in Venus or Vixen, Tears on Black Roses, Skin & Bones, Earwig Flesh Factory, MindFire,
Bloody Muse, Dark Chronicles, Bonetree, Scarlet Letters, Blood Moon zine and will soon be appearing in Dancing Skinless & Parchment Symbols.  Future projects include her gritty street-urban vamp novel Blood Dreams (which you can read an excerpt from here), Devouring Seduction a vampy collection of stories, prose and artwork due out this fall, and an erotic book of dark faerytales and photography to be completed 2001.

Her major influences include Sylvia Plath, Jim Morrison, Anais Nin, William Blake,  Edgar Allen Poe, John Keats, Starhawk,  David Bowie, Tom Waits, Henry Rollins, David Lynch,  Stanley Kubrick, David Kronenburg, Quintin Tarentino, Martin Scorsese, Edvard Munch, Mapplethorpe, Caspar David Friedrich, Van Gogh, John William Waterhouse and Julia Margaret Cameron.
